INTRODUCTION WARNING! IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ENGLISH ENGLISH The JCM25/50 Silver Jubilee Series was produced in 1987 to celebrate 25 years of Marshall Amplification and 50 years of Jim Marshall being in the music business. Inspired by this acclaimed series the 2525C 1 x 12” combo and the 2525H ‘small box’ head combine Silver Jubilee preamp features and styling in a lower power, ‘mini’ design. The 20 Watt 2525 Mini Jubilee™ is expertly crafted and is designed, engineered and constructed to the highest possible standards at the Marshall factory in Bletchley, England. And just like original Jubilee Series of amplifiers it features: Bass, Middle & Treble tone stack, Presence, Output Master (footswitch/pull channel), Lead Master and Input Gain (pull rhythm clip), with an ECC83 (12AX7) & EL34 valve set. The 2525C is loaded with a 12” Celestion G12M–25 Greenback speaker. This contemporary ‘mini’ take on the Jubilee Series also features High/Low output switching (20 Watt to 5 Watt) and independent 4/8/16 Ohm speaker outputs. We sincerely hope that your Mini Jubilee proves indispensable, and that it provides you with years of legendary Silver Jubilee tone, whatever your playing situation. Thank you for choosing Marshall. - The Marshall Team WARNING: Before going any further, make sure that your amplifier is compatible with your mains electricity supply. If you have any doubt, please seek help from a qualified technician – your Marshall dealer can help you in this respect. MAINS INPUT & FUSE: The specific mains input voltage rating that your amplifier has been manufactured for is indicated on the rear panel of the amplifier. Your amplifier is provided with a detachable mains (power) lead, which should be connected to the MAINS INPUT socket on the rear panel of the amplifier. The correct value and type of mains fuse is specified on the rear panel of the amplifier. NEVER attempt to bypass the fuse or fit one of the incorrect value or type. TRANSPORTING YOUR EQUIPMENT: Please ensure that your amplifier is switched off, unplugged from the mains electricity supply and all removable cables have been disconnected from your equipment before attempting to move it. IMPORTANT SET UP INFORMATION: 1. When using the 2525H or the 2525C with an extension speaker cabinet(s), make sure that the speaker cabinet(s) is connected to the correct impedance Loudspeaker jack socket(s) on the rear panel of the amplifier. See the LOUDSPEAKERS guide in this manual for specific information regarding impedance matching (Rear Panel Function #17). WARNING: Failure to do the above may damage your amplifier. When connecting a speaker cabinet make sure that you use a proper speaker cable. Never use a screened (shielded) guitar cable for this purpose. 2. Ensure that the POWER switch is set to the off position (Front Panel Function #11). 3. Connect the supplied mains (power) lead into the MAINS INPUT on the rear panel first and then into an electricity outlet. 4. Ensure that the VOLUME controls on the front panel are set to zero. 5. Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack socket on the front panel 6. Ensure that the OUTPUT switch is in the STANDBY position. 7. Turn the front panel POWER switch on and wait a couple of minutes before going to point 8. 8. Engage the amplifier by selecting HIGH or LOW power (Front Panel Function #10). 9. Turn the volume up to your preferred level and your amplifier is ready to play.
