The seconds counter is in motion.The chronograph can be used to measure time intervals for up to 1 hour exactly to 1/ 8 sec-ond. The time measured can be read using the seconds and minutes counters.To stop measuring time, press the P1 pusher again. The seconds counter stops immediately.Read the average speed by optical extension of the seconds counter.TACHYMETER FUNCTIONFLYBACK FUNCTIONStart the tachymeter function by using the P1 pusher. The seconds counter is in motion.While time measurement is in progress, push the P2 pusher to reset all the counters to zero. The next time measurement starts automatically. In order to put all the counters back to zero after that, press the P2 pusher with the chronograph function stopped.The tachymeter is used to determine speed. It measures the elapsed time needed to cover a specific distance. The distance covered must be known so that the time can be stopped at an exact time to determine the exact speed.The timepiece also has a precise chronograph with a flyback switch. This flyback mechanism allows one to quickly start a second time mea-surement while one is in progress. That makes it unnecessary to push the stop, reset and start buttons.213121123
